Day 01 : SAIGON-CAIBE (L,D)

Pick up in your hotel,then rout for CAIBE,around two hours of driving, we leave behind us a noisy and tumultuous world of motorbikes and skyscrapers of Saigon for traveling to the Land of the “Western People”, the Land of Waters and Orchards and also called the luxuriant Mekong Delta, the Land of Nine Dragons.

Arriving to Cai Be town,we sail leisurely through the Floating Market to admire all life activities of the River on the brown water flow with hundreds of sampans like floating shops arranged by groups here and there, crossed by small service boats of café or soups. Photographing sampans, close to the stern used as their home, we could be started by a sudden dog bark but the owner, a vermicelli soup seller would greet us with a generous smile. All seasonal merchandises from the Mekong Delta as rice, vegetables, fruit, fish, poultry would be gathered here before distributing to local markets.

After visit the floating market, we land on one of these gardens to be converted to an accommodation complex called ”MEKONG LODGE”resort including around 30 nice comfortable bungalows and professionally harmonized in the landscape and its surrounding.

Mekong Lodge is mostly a general design which includes traveling one. Services and activities which are offered by managers, are indeed varied and abundant with human contacts such as biking through the village (included), discovering the daily rural life, fishing with the neighbor(s) growing vegetables or being familiar with the Vietnamese culinary art to satisfy one’s curiosity with courses of cuisine and fruit/vegetables carving (included).

Day 02 : CAIBE-VINHLONG-TRAON (B,L,D)

Breakfast at the MEKONG LODGE restaurant,then boarding LE COCHINCHINE boat for the 2 days cruise to Cantho via Vinhlong and Tra On…
Disembark somewhere fantastic place on the village,and take a  pleasant walking or biking on the footpaths of the countryside to discover tropical fruit orchards and the local people's activities,especially somes orchards (orange grove) with its famer.

Cruise to continue to Traon.Enjoy the magnificent sunset on the river. Leisurely cruise up the Mekong River while enyoying the beautiful scenery and the aperitifs, sunset cruise .

Day 03 : Traon-Cantho-Cairang. (B).

The noise of the floating market wake you up early in the morning. After breakfast, the cruise to continue to Can Tho. Enjoy the magnificent sunrise on the river. Leisurely cruise up the BASSAC river while enyoying the beautiful scenery.

Arrive Can Tho, a small boat will take you explore the Cai Rang market one of the most bustling floating markets in Mekong Delta with hundreds of small boats barging and jostling for space as owners attempt to sell their goods. And through the palm-shaded creek to see local houses and green orchards.
